My sketches are quick, spontaneous studies that serve as preparation for larger oil paintings. With charcoal and graphite pencil, I capture the essence and details of animals in just a few strokes, directly on gray paper. These sketches help me to quickly observe and understand the shapes, movements, and characteristic traits of the animals. They are an essential part of my creative process and offer a unique glimpse into the early stages of my art.
